The Polish government has agreed on a draft regulation on the amount of the minimum wage and the amount of the minimum hourly rate in 2023.
The government adopted regulations on the amount of the minimum wage and the amount of the minimum hourly rate in 2023. Next year, the Polish authorities plan to double the wages of the lowest paid workers.
From January 1, the minimum wage should be PLN 3,490 gross (about PLN 2,700 net)
From July 1, the minimum payment will increase to PLN 3,600 gross (over PLN 2,780 net)
The minimum hourly wage is also planned to be doubled in 2023.
From January it will be PLN 22. and 10 groszy, and from July – PLN 22. and 50 groszy. This shows that the lowest hourly wage will increase by 14% next year compared to 2022.
In 2022, the minimum wage in Poland is PLN 3010 and the lowest hourly rate is PLN 19. and 70 groszy.
